The Fluke 2062 Advanced Cable Locator provides accurate and safe troubleshooting of live and dead cables in residential, commercial and industrial environments, up to CAT IV 600 V. This CAT rating provides the best protection available in cable locators. It is designed to protect against the most dangerous levels of transient overvoltage, with spikes up to 8000 V, that can occur in industrial and electrical facilities. This is especially important for scenarios you may encounter in industrial facilities, factories and hospitals where critical equipment cannot be disconnected. The patented Smart Sensor™, available only on the Fluke 2062, makes cable tracing faster and easier. It locates live wires in walls, floors and ceilings and displays them on a high-resolution 3.5-inch TFT LCD color display. Help screens make it easy to use, whether you are a beginner or an expert. While the tip sensor emits an audible tone when detecting wires, the smart sensor helps visualize and determine the orientation of live wires, taking the guesswork out of the task. The Fluke 2062 Advanced Cable Locator Kit comes with everything you need to start searching for cables and circuits. The accessory kit includes test leads, test probes, blade and round contact adapters, and alligator clips to connect the transmitter to electrical installations. In situations where direct connection to a bare conductor is not possible, the included i400 current clamp can be used in loop mode to induce an amplified 6 kHz signal through the insulation. The kit also includes batteries and a case.
